1) Presence training

You will receive comprehensive training on the topic of light in furniture and furnishings in just one day. You will experience the possible uses of light as a design element, learn the basic concepts of lighting technology, get an overview of the various control options and receive important tips and tricks for installing lighting components.

The highlight course covers the content of four modules in one day.

Modul 1: Lighting effect & lighting design

Learning objectives: 
  • The participant gains a basic understanding of the effects of light.
  • The participant understands which framework conditions have an influence on the lighting effect.
  • Participants receive tips and tricks for designing with light in furniture and fittings.

Modul 2: Lighting technology

Learning objectives:

  • The participant can read the technical data sheets and understand their contents.
  • The participant knows the different lighting systems and their advantages and disadvantages.
  • The participant is informed about the regulations, test marks and standards.

Modul 3: Control & networking of lighting components

Learning objectives:

  • The participant has knowledge of the different switching systems.
  • The participant knows hardware and software for smartphone control.
  • The participant learns how to create and effectively use lighting scenes.

Modul 4:Installation of lighting components

Learning objectives:

  • The participant can select the appropriate type of installation and place and connect all components correctly.
  • The participant knows the regulations for the different areas of application / use.

Architects Special: Learn + Lunch

As an architect or interior designer, learn what optimum lighting in the kitchen and dining room can look like. The area light above the dining table, orientation and general light in the room and detail light as atmospheric background lighting form the components for optimum lighting in the room.

This event is recognized by the Baden-Württemberg Chamber of Architects as further education / training with a scope of five teaching hours for members and architects / urban planners in practical training for the fields of architecture and interior design.

2) Webinar Trainings

You will receive your personal starter set or sample box before the webinars so that you can apply the theoretical knowledge you have learned during the webinar under the guidance of the trainer.

Webinar Loox 5: The LED lighting system for furniture and rooms, incl. sample box

Learning objectives:
  • Experience the use of Loox 5 components in the training course.
  • You will create your own light installation under the guidance of our trainer.
  • The participants connect LED strips and set up different circuits.

 

Cost:

EUR 69.00 (plus VAT), including Loox 5 sample set.

 

Webinar Connect Mesh: Intelligent lighting control, incl. starter set

Learning objectives: 
  • Learn about the function of the individual components during training.
  • You will create your own light installation under the guidance of our trainer.
  • The participants create their own network with the help of the sample set and program their first groups and light scenes.
