Häfele furniture planning with DressCode
With a new generation of product configurators from Häfele, furniture manufacturers can now work with their customers to conveniently, easily and quickly put together the right configuration for cabinets with the DressCode cabinet equipment program. The highlight: The individually planned furniture can be virtually displayed in real environment. The new Häfele configurator was created in just ten months of development work.
It opens up completely new possibilities and advantages for carpenters and interior designers. The DressCode Configurator increases the sales chances during on-site consultation and ensures time savings of up to 80%. Furniture is configured quickly and reliably, planning errors are avoided and the ordering process is simplified. Purchase and sales prices are automatically determined on site. Direct ordering from Häfele is possible even during the sales meeting. This minimizes order processing times from consultation to installation to three to seven working days. .
Optimized usability & store connection
Design and user-friendliness as well as simple and fast operation of the configurator were a central concern of the developers. The user is guided through the application in just a few steps. Using the Share and Save functions, individual configurations can be sent from end customers to cabinet makers and interior designers. The recipient opens the configuration, can change it if necessary and then order the required products in the Häfele web store. The new generation of configurators is mobile ready and can be operated with stationary and mobile devices .
How digital furniture planning works with the DressCode cabinet equipment program and other Häfele hardware technology, including 3D planning aids, can be seen from 18-21 March at the Holzhandwerk in Nuremberg at the Häfele stand in Hall 10.1-318.
DressCode cabinet equipment system as entry into the digital world
With the configurator for DressCode, users and operators will soon be able to put together their individual cabinet setup in a simple and fast way and view it in real environments with an intelligent Augmented Reality App. Almost all cabinets can be equipped with a uniform design. The system inspires with its convincing design language and top functionality. Since its market launch in May, DressCode has therefore been very successful with craftsmen and furnishing specialists. All elements can be assembled and disassembled without tools. This reduces the assembly time by 50% compared to screwed connections. The award-winning connector is the heart of this system for cabinets and shelves.
DressCode can be built into the wardrobe or set up as a free-standing frame system, making it perfect for walk-in closets. Thanks to its individual design and equipment options, the system fits into any ambience and is available internationally in a uniform format.
Extensive output options
After the configuration is complete, the furniture maker is provided with various data formats and output options so that he can either manufacture parts himself or transfer the configuration to existing room plans. The data outputs include 2D and 3D CAD data for download or display in all common formats. In addition, there is a parts list of the individual parts, cutting lists with all processing dimensions for wooden parts, a configuration overview with integrated parts list and an exploded drawing, which is also often used as a construction manual for fitters.
Useful note for the practitioner: The 3D data export offered by Häfele products for fast and easy integration is being used more and more frequently. It allows furniture and components to be integrated quickly and easily into drawings and plans. The 3D data are also used to enhance kitchen and room planning, e.g. with Silent Aluflex or DressCode.
