Fixing elements must be regarded as part of the fitting set in accordance with DIN 18273:1997 and must therefore only be regarded as part of the unit. Consequently, Startec 5 series spindles and screws may only be used with Startec 5 series fittings when used on fire resistant, smoke control and emergency exit doors.
