New sales manager Nikolas Bransch

Häfele bundles sales competence in Germany

In view of the changes in the furniture industry and trade, Häfele is bundling its sales expertise under one roof. The aim of the organizational and personnel realignment is to optimize consulting, services and product policy for all customers in the future. Since the beginning of the year, the 42-year-old Nikolas Bransch has been the new overall sales manager for sales. In addition to his function as sales manager for industry, which he has successfully performed for four years, he is now responsible for all domestic sales.

Nikolas Bransch is a proven expert in the industry with experience in various leading sales functions in industry and trade, in the retail sector, in the object and associations as well as in online trade and in questions concerning digitalization. He has been with Häfele since 2015. Over the past few years, he has helped to build up and successfully develop Häfele's industrial division with its own product ranges as Sales Manager. Häfele hardware technology from our own production, such as Free flap fittings, Matrix guides or Slido sliding door fittings, have a good reputation in the furniture industry both nationally and internationally. Business partners value not only the product competence of Häfele Key Account Managers, but also their expert advice and holistic view of furniture.

Meanwhile, the furniture industry is witnessing a convergence of industry and trade. There are no longer such clear boundaries as there were a few years ago. "Numerous craft enterprises are becoming more and more industrialized and produce in small series, while the furniture industry is developing more and more in the direction of individual small series up to batch size 1 especially for the contract business. In view of this development and in the interest of our customers from both industries, it is imperative to bundle our sales expertise under one roof," says company manager Sibylle Thierer.

Anticipatory succession planning

Klaus Schwager, the previous, long-standing domestic sales manager, is celebrating his 65th birthday this year. Against this background, his succession plan was tackled prudently and with foresight at an early stage. Klaus Schwager will continue to maintain Häfele. In future, he will be responsible for sales projects at the Häfele production subsidiary Anton Schneider in Jettingen near Nagold.
